Ferric pyrophosphate may interfere with imaging studies done with gallium citrate Ga-67. Let your doctor know you are receiving or have recently received ferric pyrophosphate if you are scheduled for an imaging diagnostic procedure with gallium citrate Ga-67. You may need to stop using ferric pyrophosphate for a certain amount of time before having the procedure. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
