Interactions between your drugs
boceprevir roflumilast topical
Applies to: boceprevir, roflumilast topical
Some of the medication in roflumilast topical may be absorbed into the bloodstream following local application. It is possible that use of boceprevir may further increase blood levels of the medication by interfering with its clearance from your body. You may be more likely to experience side effects of roflumilast topical such as diarrhea, headache, insomnia, nausea, upper respiratory tract infection, or urinary tract infection. Let your doctor know if side effects become excessive or intolerable. Your doctor may be able to prescribe alternatives that do not interact. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
Drug and food interactions
boceprevir food
Applies to: boceprevir
Food significantly increases the absorption of boceprevir. You should take each dose of boceprevir with a meal or light snack. Taking it on an empty stomach may lead to inadequate blood levels and reduced effectiveness of the medication.
