Methoxsalen may increase the blood levels of vorasidenib, which may cause more side effects or increase the risk of liver problems. Contact your doctor if your symptoms worsen or your condition changes. Your doctor may be able to prescribe alternatives that do not interact. Liver function and drug levels in the blood may be monitored with blood tests during treatment. Call your doctor if you experience fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, right upper abdominal pain, dark urine, and jaundice. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Methoxsalen should be administered with food or milk. This may make it easier for your body to tolerate the medication. Avoid eating or coming in contact with limes, figs, parsley, parsnips, rue (Ruta graveolens), mustard, carrots and celery. This can increase the risk of photosensitivity and cause your skin to burn more easily. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, sunlamps, or tanning beds. Methoxsalen make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, and a sunburn may result. Wear protective clothing and use a sunscreen if you must be in the sun. Call your doctor if you have severe burning, redness, itching, rash, or swelling after being in the sun.

Smoking tobacco during treatment may decrease the blood levels and effectiveness of vorasidenib. Tell your doctor if you are a current or past tobacco smoker. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
