Using sodium bicarbonate together with multivitamin with iron and fluoride may decrease the effects of multivitamin with iron and fluoride. Separate the administration of multivitamin with iron and fluoride at least two hours apart from sodium bicarbonate. If your doctor does prescribe these medications together, you may need a dose adjustment or special test to safely use both medications.
