Using methotrexate together with methylPREDNISolone can increase the blood levels or add to the side effects of methotrexate Talk with your doctor before using these medications together. This can cause a decrease in blood cell counts, easy bruising or bleeding, unusual weakness, mouth sores, nausea, vomiting, black or bloody stools, and urinating less than usual or not at all.
