Measles virus vaccine may interfere with the response to coccidioidin skin test and lead to false-negative test results. Coccidioidin skin test may be given before or at the same time as measles virus vaccine. However, a person who has been vaccinated with measles virus vaccine may need to wait at least four weeks before getting tested with coccidioidin skin test. It is important to tell the doctor about all other medications being used, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to the doctor.
