Drug interactions between bromfenac / prednisolone ophthalmic and esmolol
Interactions between your drugs
Applies to: esmolol and bromfenac / prednisolone ophthalmic
If you use esmolol for the treatment of high blood pressure, talk to your doctor before using it together with bromfenac. Combining these medications may reduce the effects of esmolol in lowering your blood pressure, especially if you use bromfenac frequently or regularly (for example, to treat arthritis or chronic pain). You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
Drug and food interactions
Applies to: bromfenac / prednisolone ophthalmic
Food significantly decreases the levels of bromfenac. Avoid eating a high-fat meal. Take bromfenac on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before or 2 hours after a meal. This will make it easier for your body to absorb the medication.
