Interactions between your drugs

Moderate

yohimbine lorcaserin

Applies to: Yohimar (yohimbine) and Belviq XR (lorcaserin)

Talk to your doctor before using lorcaserin together with yohimbine. Combining these medications may increase the risk of priapism, which is a prolonged and painful erection unrelated to sexual activity. You should immediately discontinue these medications and seek emergency medical attention if you have an erection lasting longer than 4 hours. If not treated promptly, priapism can cause irreversible damage to the penile tissue. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
