Using sodium iodide together with sodium iodide I-123 can alter the effects of sodium iodide I-123. Certain medications may effect the results of sodium iodide I-123. Contact your doctor when to start and stop therapy with sodium iodide so it does not interfere with sodium iodide I-123. You may need a dose adjustment or special test to safely use both medications.
