utricle of vestibular labyrinth

 

Definition: the larger of the two membranous sacs in the vestibule of the labyrinth, lying in the elliptic recess; from it arise three semicircular ducts by means of five openings; the urticulosaccular duct extends from it to the sacculus of the vestibular labyrnth..
