thoracodorsal nerve


Definition: arises from the posterior cord of the brachial plexus; it contains fibers from the sixth, seventh, and eighth cervical nerves and supplies the latissimus dorsi muscle.

Synonym(s): nervus thoracodorsalisTA, long subscapular nerve
