ß-d-glucuronidase

Pronunciation: glu'ku-ron'i-das

Definition: An enzyme catalyzing the hydrolysis of various ß-d-glucuronides, liberating free d-glucuronic acid and an alcohol; a deficiency of this enzyme is associated with Sly syndrome.
