steroid cell tumor


Definition: a collective term used for ovarian tumors composed of cells resembling steroid-secreting lutein cells; comprises several tumors such as stromal luteoma, Leydig cell tumor, steroid cell tumor not otherwise specified; hormonally active; may be benign or malignant.
