soleal line

 

Definition: a ridge that extends obliquely downward and medially across the back of the tibia from the fibular articular facet; it gives origin to the soleus muscle.

Synonym(s): linea musculi soleiTA, line for soleus muscle, linea poplitea, popliteal line
