Sly syndrome


Definition: an autosomal recessive disorder due to a deficiency of a ß-glucuronidase; defective lysosomal degradation of dermatan sulfate, heparan sulfate, and chondroitin sulfate; cellular function disrupted in most tissues.

Synonym(s): mucopolysaccharidosis type VII1
