ringlike corneal dystrophy
Definition: threadlike opacities of the anterior corneal stroma, with acute, painful onset followed by decreased vision; autosomal dominant inheritance, caused by mutation in the transforming growth factor, beta-induced, gene (TGFßI) encoding keratoepithelium on chromosome 5q.
