Definition: Congenital cardiovascular malformation with atresia of the pulmonic valve and absence of the main pulmonary artery; the lungs are supplied with blood either through a patent ductus arteriosus or via bronchial arteries arising from the aorta; a characteristic of the most severe form of tetralogy of Fallot.
