primary extrapulmonary coccidioidomycosis

 

Definition: a rare form of coccidioidomycosis presenting near the site of local trauma with painless, firm nodules occurring at 1–2 weeks, accompanied by regional adenopathy, with spontaneous healing in a few weeks.
