PR interval

 

Definition: in the electrocardiogram, the time elapsing between the beginning of the P wave and the beginning of the next QRS complex; it corresponds to the a-c interval of the venous pulse and is normally 0.12–0.20 sec.

Synonym(s): PQ interval
