Pronunciation: flor'o-glu'sin, -glu'sin-ol, -glu'kol

Definition: An isomer of pyrogallol, obtained from resorcinol by fusion with caustic soda; used as a reagent with vanillin, as a decalcifier of bone specimens, and as an antispasmodic.
