Definition: multisymptomatic presentation (memory loss and confusion, “burning” sensation, GI effects); caused by physical contact with or inhalation and/or ingestion of infected fish. Seen commonly in Chesapeake Bay in eastern U.S., often in fish kills on shoreline.
