paradidymis

Pronunciation: par'a-did'i-mis, -di-dim'i-dez

Definition: A small body sometimes attached to the front of the lower part of the spermatic cord above the head of the epididymis; the remnants of tubules of the mesonephros. Its equivalent in the female is the paroöphoron.

Synonym(s): parepididymis
