palisaded or intranodal myofibroblastoma


Definition: a rare benign tumor most often found in inguinal lymph nodes. It is composed of intersecting fascicles of benign spindle cell with immunohistochemical and ultrastructural features of myofibroblasts.

Synonym(s): hemorrhagic spindle cell tumor with amianthoid fibers
