P-dextrocardiale

Pronunciation: deks'tro-kar'de-a'le

Definition: An electrocardiographic syndrome characteristic of overloading of the right atrium, often called P-pulmonale (erroneously, because the syndrome can result from any overloading of the right atrium [tricuspid stenosis] and independently of cor pulmonale).
