Maneuver involves inflating a blood pressure cuff exceeding a pressure range that indicates hypertension, while palpating the radial pulse to demonstrate decreased compressibility of the brachial artery from vascular stiffness, thus pseudohypertension. This maneuver is not recommended according to current hypertension guidelines.
