nucleoside triphosphate

 

Definition: a nucleoside in which the H of one of the ribose hydroxyls (usually the 5') is replaced by a triphosphoric group, –PO(OH)–O–PO(OH)–O–PO(OH)2 or the corresponding conjugate base, adenosine triphosphate.
