nucleoside diphosphate


Definition: the pyrophosphoric ester of a nucleoside, a nucleoside in which the H of one of the ribose hydroxyls (usually the 5') is replaced by a pyrophosphoric (diphosphoric) radical, adenosine 5'-diphosphate.
