nonsuppressible insulinlike activity
Definition: plasma insulinlike activity not suppressed by antibodies to insulin and mostly present after pancreatectomy. Nonsuppressible insulinlike activity is mostly the action of polypeptide insulinlike growth factors IGF-I and IGF-II.
