mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis
Definition: glomerulonephritis characterized clinically by nephrotic syndrome and histologically by diffuse glomerular increases in endocapillary and mesangial cells and in mesangial matrix; in some cases, there are mesangial deposits of IgM and complement.
