meningeal branch of (intracranial part of) vertebral artery
Definition: one of the one or two branches of the intracranial part of the vertebral artery, arising near the foramen magnum, which ramify between the dura and the inner table of bone of the posterior cranial fossa, supplying dura (including falx cerebelli), inner table of bone, and diploë.
