medial nuclei of thalamus
Definition: collective group of cells comprising the large medial dorsal nucleus (or dorsomedial nucleus) and its subdivisions (lateral nucleus or parvocellular nucleus, medial nucleus or magnocellular nucleus, and paralaminar part or pars paralaminaris) and the medial ventral nucleus [TA] (nucleus medioventralis [TA]).
