lymphocyte-mediated cytotoxicity

 

Definition: the toxic or lytic activity of lymphocytes; cytotoxic T lymphocytes may cause lysis of cells by production of cytolytic proteins such as perforin. Natural killer cells are cytotoxic without earlier sensitization.
