lymphangioma simplex

 

Definition: a lesion that appears within the skin as a small, lobulated growth filled with clear fluid and sometimes demonstrating intertriginous low-grade infection. Venous bleeding into these small lesions may occur.

Synonym(s): lymphangioma circumscriptum, simple lymphangiectasis
