left semilunar cusp of aortic valve
Definition: of the three semilunar cusps of the aortic valve, the one that lies to the left in the fetal heart and in the left posterior position in the adult heart; it overlies the origin of the left coronary artery.
Synonym(s): valvula coronaria sinistra (valvae aortae)
