lateral parabrachial nucleus
Definition: a cell group located lateral to the brachium conjunctivum in rostral regions of the pons; may be divided into a pars lateralis [TA] (lateral part [TA]), a pars medialis [TA] (medial part [TA]), pars posterior [TA] (posterior part [TA]), and a pars anterior [TA] (anterior part [TA]).
