latent transforming growth-factor (TGF)-ß binding protein
Definition: a member of the latent TGF ß binding family LTBP; plays a role in regulating the secretion and activation of TGFß proteins. Anomalous expression of LTBPs may be associated with coronary heart disease and a variety of cancers.
