large vestibular aqueduct syndrome

 

Definition: A form of inner ear dysplasia associated with a delayed onset of sensory neural hearing loss, which may be fluctuating and progressive. An enlarged vestibular aqueduct can be demonstrated on high-resolution CT scan.
