Killian triangle

Pronunciation: kil'e-an

Definition: the triangular area of the cervical esophagus bordered by the oblique fibers of the inferior constrictor muscle of the pharynx and the transverse fibers of the cricopharyngeus muscle through which pharyngoesophageal diverticulum occurs.
