intercuneiform ligaments


Definition: fibrous bands that unite the cuneiform bones; they are arranged in three sets: dorsal intercuneiform ligaments (ligamenta intercuneiformia dorsalia), interosseous intercuneiform ligaments (ligamenta intercuneiformia interossea), and plantar intercuneiform ligaments (ligamenta intercuneiformia plantaria).
