hyperkeratosis follicularis et parafollicularis

 

Definition: discrete and confluent horny follicular plugs on a crateriform base, often occurring on the arms and legs in diabetic patients with renal failure; possibly a severe form of perforating folliculitis.

Synonym(s): Kyrle disease
