Hand-Schüller-Christian disease

Pronunciation: hand shel'er kris'chen

Definition: the chronic disseminated form of Langerhans cell histiocytosis. The classic triad of signs consists of diabetes insipidus, exophthalmos, and bony lesions composed of histiocytes.
