Pronunciation: fi'bro-li'o-mi-o'ma

Definition: A leiomyoma containing nonneoplastic collagenous fibrous tissue, which may make the tumor hard; fibroleiomyoma usually arises in the myometrium, and the proportion of fibrous tissue increases with age.
