dye-dilution curve


Definition: graph of the serial concentrations (dilutions) of a dye, Evans blue, following its intravascular or intracardiac injection; useful in the diagnosis of congenital cardiac shunts, measurement of cardiac output, and detection of cardiovalvular incompetence.
