Definition: branches to the teeth. Terminologica Anatomica lists dental branches of the following: 1) anterior superior alveolar artery (rami dentales arteriarum alveolarium superiorum anteriorum [TA]); 2) inferior alveolar artery (rami dentales arteriae alveolaris inferioris [TA]); and 3) posterior superior alveolar artery (rami dentales arteriae alveolaris superioris posterioris [TA]).
