congenital pulmonary arteriovenous fistula
Definition: multiple, usually dilated, vessels connecting pulmonary artery and vein, most cases found in Rendu-Osler-Weber syndrome (q.v.), causes an increasing physiologic right-to-left shunt (q.v.).
