complexed prostate-specific antigen (cPSA) test

 

Definition: a serum test to detect PSA complexed to a1-antichymotrypsin; cPSA appears to be more specific for detection of prostate cancer at low total levels of PSA than measurement of total PSA and free:total PSA ratios.
