cochleopalpebral reflex

 

Definition: a form of the wink reflex in which there is a contraction, sometimes very slight, of the orbicularis palpebrarum muscle to an intense sound.

Synonym(s): acousticopalpebral reflex, auropalpebral reflex, cochleo-orbicular reflex
