Definition: a type I transmembrane protein, present on neutrophils, histiocytes, some myeloid progenitor cells, and the brush border of colonic epithelial cells; facilitates adhesion and neutrophilic activation; expressed in chronic myelocytic leukemia and some cases of acute lymphocytic leukemia.
