Definition: the extremities of the bony semicircular canals in which the corresponding membranous limbs of the semicircular ducts are located; they are the common bony limbs (crus osseum commune), simple bony limbs (crus osseum simplex), and ampullary bony limbs (crus ossea ampullaria).
