benign paroxysmal torticollis of infancy

 

Definition: intermittent recurrent episodes of head tilt and torticollis, usually associated with vomiting; most commonly appears between 2 and 8 months of age and resolves by age 3 years. May herald the onset of migraine later in childhood.
